I am Natalia, a running enthusiast living in Germany. My journey in amateur sports is not that long yet. What always admired me is that our body is actually capable of the things we never thought of. But what I am just starting to discover (by my own experience, or observing, or reading) is how our mind affects what we achieve. Or how we feel. Or our “can”s and “cannot”s. You can control some things and you cannot control the other. Seeing it through and finding your own way to be happy is what I learn from Angelique: push hard, but where it’s needed, take care of your body and mind. And remember that the stories of people around you are much more than smiling pictures on Instagram. For me, joining the Klaverblad Tocht team is about this idea: the whole picture is always bigger than what you might see right now.
